Do you feel the lion roaring?

I adore the person who comes to me looking for spiritual answers with an open heart but starts the conversation with "but does it really work?" I can not help but giggle in this moment. Their energy says they are looking for something that their soul is already sending search parties for but their mind is not in a space to fully accept they are worthy of the magic calling to them. I giggle not out of judgement for them; rather I giggle because I know they are so close to feeling something amazing and most have no idea. I giggle because Spirit is already showing them that "it" works-- and I am merely a bridge builder to show them just how much "it" is working and what that means for them.

What in this world does that long winded intro have to do with this magical day of 8/8/2018? It has been labeled The 8-8 Lions Gate. 8 .... the number of balance. The number Spirit uses to show us what needs to be cleared out and what needs to brought into this life to come full circle on our journey in this magical meat suit of ours.  And it happens in the month of the mighty lion. (so mighty I really wanted to capitalize the L in lion there lol). So lets move thru this simply, covering all the layers at a basic level, and together.

Let's start there... numbers.... Spirit is telling us already pay attention. 88/11 (add 2+0+1+8). Oftentimes Spirit uses numbers to communicate with us. I personally believe it is because numbers are harder for this meat suit to mix up during the "interpreting" process. See a dove it could mean love, marriage, or something else all-together. See an 8-- its an 8. Then you add that magical 11 to it. We call this day 8-8 Lion's gate. Spirit calls it powerful in the realm of bringing magically balance. How do we know that? By the numbers.

Do you feel the power in the air today? Maybe it comes in the form of a bit more "ummpf" in your step. Maybe your hair (mane) is sitting just right. Maybe you feel like everyone else has the power and you want yours back. It can be either side of the power feels-- you notice the power that you feel in the air around you. Pay attention to what steps you may need to make to gain control of that power back. Bring that roar back to your center and feel your strength. Not just for today but use the energies of today and remember what it feels like. Bring that balance of power back into your life.

Then we go into the fact that this is the Lions month. Kings and Queens are us Leos. At least in our own heads. :) We need to be heard. Ignoring us is not something any Leo takes lightly. (Can ya tell I'm a Leo?) But you know something most Leos won't tell ya? That underneath all that hair tossing and strutting is a good many insecurities. A need for validations and gold stars. Are you feeling that too? Cause this is the time for any creepy thoughts of shortcomings to come to the surface. 

So what do you do when that hits? You go back to the numbers. You remember that Spirit told us there is power all around us. You remember the balance between arrogance and divine power. And you embrace all that you are. Knowing you are worthy and powerful.

Oh and did we mention that all the planets are still a bit off centered as well? Not in their typical positions around the sun on this mighty day of 8-8. We can get deep here but lets stay at the surface. Just like the moon effects the tides of the oceans-- the alignment of the planets effect our lives. Some are more attuned to this than others but none is left unaffected. We, just like the planets, are being pushed outside our "normal orbit" to take a look at things we may not be able to see otherwise. 

Take a look at what is coming up and out during this time for you. Do not judge yourself or others for it. Just pay attention. Where can you bring in more balance? What is Spirit saying to you?

So you tell me ... do you feel the lions roaring? We can make a choice to focus on how much all this "out of orbit" stuff is making our lives hard and blah blah blah. Or we can see the power we have in it all and see it as a gift from Spirit. We can know that this is not a punishment; rather a doorway (gate) that if we listen deep within, Spirit is telling us all we need to gather to use as a key. Gather these things from the stardust within our soul and we can open this gate. Be prepared for a powerful and magical journey once you open it. And know there is nothing you can not handle.

This will mean change for a good many of us. And change is scary at times. But that moment of clarity after the change happens and you embrace all that it means for you-- that moment is powerful. You are powerful. And you are worthy of all that means. In seeing yourself as worthy never forget that others are just as worthy. Their gate may lead to a different place than yours but it is no less valid. As we are also reminded of how interconnected we are thru the number 8. Spirals and circles surround us all and are never ending and sometimes overlapping.
